Let me guess - your healthy self went grocery shopping and bought Brussels sprouts, and now every time you open the fridge, they’re staring at you. You quickly shut the door to avoid eye contact, because you really don’t want to eat steamed Brussel sprouts. I get it! This roasted Brussel sprouts recipe will come to your rescue as it is easy, delicious and healthy.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Brussel sprouts 500 gr
  • 1/3 cup raisins 50 gr
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 65 gr
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Soak the raisins in warm water
  • Cut the brussel sprouts in 4 and cook them for 5 minutes in boiling salted water, once they are cooked drain them.
  • In a pan add: extra virgin olive oil, two cloves of minced garlic, the brussel sprouts, the chopped walnuts, salt, pepper and the drained raisins.
  • Sautée everything for about 10 minutes on high heat, until your brussel sprouts are golden and crispy.
  • Enjoy your healthy and delicious side dish!
